WWF Prime Time Wrestling November 2, 1992

!---------------------begin guest column-----------------!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. It is I wrestlevessel back at you for the first time since late July/early August. Today I am bringing you another tape review of the old school WWF TV Program Prime Time Wrestling. Todays report features Prime Time Wrestling November 2, 1992. I hope to bring you more reports more often but I am quite busy and when I watch my tapes, I don't like to analyze them and time them usually but today after I studied for my midterms I took a brake and did this for a Prime Time episode (editor's note: sentence structure and punctuation can be your FRIEND). Anyways lets start the show.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling November 2, 1992

Match #1:
Tito Santana vs Razor Ramon (Wrestling Challenge)

Prime Time starts out immediately with a match this week. No studios. Tito looks very impressive early and nails Razor with the flying forearm. Razor rolls out. A lot of back and forth fast paced action continues to ensue. Armdrag contest occurs between the two. Finally Razor swings the momentum with a top rope clothsline. Razor dominates for a while but Tito fights back. Eventually Tito makes another mistake. Razor then nails Tito with the Razor's edge for the clean 1-2-3 pin.
Winner: Razor Ramon by pinfall (4:46) **1/2

Vince McMahon, Jim Duggan, Hill Billy Jim, Mr. Perfect & Bobby Heenan welcome us to the Prime Time Wrestling Studios and run down todays show.

Match #2:
Nailz vs Tom Stone (Jobber) (Wrestling Challenge)

Nailz just beats on this guy real bad. A lot of chokes and usual brawl type manuevers used by Nailz. He finally finishes off the jobber with the choke hold sleeper. After the match another beatdown with the night stick. Who can stop this big man?
Winner: Nailz by submission (2:35) 1/4 * for his after math beatdown.

Match #3:
Jim Brunzell vs Rick Martel (Prime Time Exclusive)

The crowd is into this match. This match is quite similar to the Tito/Razor match from earlier. Another excellent fast paced action match going back and forth with quick moves. Eventually the Model dominates the matches for a few mins. However Brunzell is able to reverse the momentum with an outstanding dropkick. Brunzell and Martel keep exchanging move for move. Eventually Martel turns the tide by giving Brunzell a back breaker and quickly slapping on the boston crab for the submission win.
Winner: Rick Martel by submission (4:54) **1/2

Mean Gene Okerlund then interviews the Ultimatemaniacs (Ultimate Warrior & Randy Savage) on stage. Warrior and Savage discuss how they will defeated Razor & Flair at the Survivor Series. The crowd is going nuts for these guys. They defiently should've teamed up longer than 3 months. Seeing them face the Beverlys on Superstars one week would of been awesome probably.

Match #4:
Crush vs Ken Johnson (Jobber) (Superstars taping)

The jobber starts out with some pathetic offense. Man does he look old? Crush teaches this jobber a lesson and gives him a good beatdown. The submission head crusher is good enough to win.
Winner: Crush by submission (2:14) DUD

Back in the studios and a coliseum video is plugged. They show about 2 mins of a match between piper/bushwackers vs mountie/nasty boys. I own this match from a PTW from March 92 which I may report one day.

Survivor Series Report with Mean Gene. Undertaker building Kamala's casket. Bossman gaurantees Nailz will get beat with the Night Stick. Ultimatemaniacs go crazy. Order Survivor Series now!

Shawn Michaels and Sensational Sherri come down the aisle. When suddenly Marty Jannetty jumps out of the crowd. He fires fists at Michaels and gives him a Flair flip out of the ring. Michaels back in and Jannetty has got the mirror from Sherri. He tries to hit Michaels but he pulls Sherri infront and Jannetty drills her. The medical team takes Sherri backstage. What a historic moment hear.

PTW panel then discusses if it was intentional or not the whole mirror incident and we go to commercial.

Sean Mooney is at his hooney moon. Mooney gets pissed off as a WWF camera man follows him. He yells at the guy for locking his wife in a closet. Mooney then punches the camera man.

Match #5:
Tatanka vs Kamala w/Harvey Whippleman & Kimchee (Prime Time Exclusive)

A decent match for the first 2.5 mins as Tatanka controls most of it and its funny seeing Kamala fall down. Eventually it turns into a boring match with Kamala putting Tatanka in a bear hug. Tatanka then fights back and suddenly Paul Bearer comes down the asile wheeling a casket down to ringisde. Kamala disposes of Tatanka and takes control. Then Undertaker pops out and Kamala runs away. The ref counts Kamala out, leaving Tatanka the winner and still undefeated.
Winner: Tatanka via countout (6:07) *

Match #6:
World Tag Team Title Match:
Natural Disasters (champions) vs Money INC w/ Jimmy Hart (Wrestling Challenge)

Before the match starts the Nasty Boys come out and yell at Jimmy Hart because they were originally supposed to be the team to recieve this title shot. Money INC gives the Nasties money. The Nasty Boys take the money and beat up Dibiase/IRS. Natural Disasters then come down the asile. Disasters start off the match dominating the injured Money INC. They nearly win the match several times but are unable to put Money INC away. Money INC fights back a little and work on Typhoon. However the Disasters are able to get the tied turned. Earthquake goes for the huge splash on Dibiase. Suddenly the Headshrinkers come down the asile. The Headhsrinkers are distracting the Ref and Typhoon. Dibiase and IRS now double team Earthquake in the ring. A clothsline nails Earthquake outside the ring and his head hits the railing. Earthquake back into the ring and Dibiase & IRS use wear down sleeper holds on the battered up Earthquake. Finally after numerous sleepers Dibiase slaps on the Million Dollar dream giving Money INC the win and new tag team champions.
Winners: And New WWF Tag Team Champions Money INC when Dibiase made Earthquake submit. (9:00) ***1/4

Money INC celebrates in the ring. Then Jimmy Hart goes to the commentary booth with Moonsoon & Heenan and he gloats on how he won the titles. The Nasty Boys come out and make Heenan leave then then pick up Jimmy and throw off the podium onto Money INC. What a storyline!!!

Bam Bam Bigelow promo is shown. Hes like Burn!!!! Cool fire wall paper (editor's note: HUH?).

Match #7:
Intercontinental Title Match:
British Bulldog (champion) vs Louie Spicolli (Jobber) (Wrestling Challenge)

A very quick match here. Bulldog uses the nice long delayed suplex. Doink is in the crowd with a hammer. What a funny way to debut Doink by showing him in the crowd. Bulldog with the running powerslam and its over.
Winner: And Still IC Champion the British Bulldog by pinfall (1:43) DUD (Too short, he congratulates Bret, and show the clown so not much hear.)

Special Report shows Undertaker and Nailz having a staredown. I can feel the drama.

Match #8:
Max Moon vs Repoman (Prime Time Exclusive)

Moon rolls around the ring and the audience laughs. Moon nails some nice high flying moves in this match but for the most part Repo dictates it. Barry Darsow was so funny. Him and making his sounds. A pretty solid match hear for these two. However a horrible ending. In the end Repo is getting beaten up in the corner by Moon. He then grabs his toe rope and tries to hit Moon. I think he misses but the ref calls for the bell anyways. If getting DQed and doing nothing isn't embarassing enough Repo gets beaten up by Moon after the match who clears the ring.
Winner: Max Moon via DQ (5:44) *3/4

Match #9:
Yokozuna (debut) w/Mr. Fugi vs Bill Jordan (Jobber) (Superstars)

Yoko nails a nice belly to belly suplex as his first move. He charges in a nice but slam. Some other pretty good moves and forget about it with the Banzai drop. Yokozuna with an impressive debut.
Winner: Yokozuna by pinfall (1:52) 1/4* (Nice debut)

Next Week on Prime Time 2 title matches High Energy gets a shot at Money INC for the tag belts and Bret Hart defends the World title against the Berzerker. There are some other good featured matches but who knows if on my next update it will be this episode or something else. This is wrestlevessel@aol.com reporting. Perhaps I will be back in 2 weeks or maybe 6 months. I don't know but Wrestlevessel has reported for you and anyone who wants to see my collection of tapes you can check it out www.geocities.com/sxwrestlingtapes

Thanks to ES and anyone else for listening to this Tape Review.
