WWF Compilation Tape Review: (April-May 1995!!!)
From Our Pal, "OrangeGoblinFan".

!---------------------begin guest column-----------------!

- Back with MORE 1995 WWF, as the pain continues. This marked the first tape where I actually put the PPV on with television footage, resulting in having to tape fewer matches to complete my tapes, so Superstars would be ignored half the time and with the increasing amount of matches on RAW, that became my #1 source of matches. Wrestlemania XI is probably my least favorite of all time, with not ONE match making me want to go "oh man I got to see this!". Anyway, in quick results...

- The Allied Powers (Lex Luger & British Bulldog) defeated The Blu Brothers in the opening match when Davey Boy pinned one of the twins (I think Eli). * for a bland match.

Razor Ramon defeated Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett via disqualification after The Roadie interfered during the match. **3/4 Decent enough but they had a better match at the Rumble.

Owen Hart & Yokozuna (his Mystery Partner) defeated Tag Team Champions the Smoking Gunns when Owen pinned Billy. **1/2 This was Owens first gold in the WWF.

Bret Hart defeated Bob Backlund in a Submission Match. Roddy Piper was the special referee. ** WAY better match at Survivor Series these two had. My PPV cut out during the end, so "PPV screwed me!"

The Undertaker defeated King Kong Bundy after something gay probably. DUD Worst Match. Kama re-stole the urn from Paul Bearer, and would melt it down into a chain.

WWF Champion Diesel defeated Shawn Michaels after the Jackknife Powerbomb. ***1/2 MOTN Honors here.

Lawrence Taylor defeated Bam Bam Bigelow following a top rope forearm to the face in the Main Event. **1/2 really good for a celebrity match. After the match, Ted Dibiase chews out Bigelow for screwing up.

- Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly (w/ 1-2-3 Kid) vs. Hakushi (w/ Shinja):
From Monday Night Raw the night after Wrestlemania. I'm surprised Holly is STILL in the WWE. Brief clip of Bob Holly with his race car. I just realized the 1-2-3 Kid is with Holly. I think Shinja was Sato of the Orient Express, but I'm not 100% sure. I wonder who would win a fight between the White Angel (Hakushi) and the Fallen Angel (Christopher Daniels). A young Mike Chiota is the referee, and he too is still employed. Lockup and Holly with a side headlock and shoulder block. Cross cross off the ropes and Holly nails his signature dropkicks. Lockup and Hakushi with a headlock now followed by a shoulder block but he runs into a hip toss. Holly with an armbar and he hammers away a the elbow of Hakushi. Hakushi drives the knee into Holly's sternum and MISSES a charge to the corner. Holly isses a cross body off the top rope as Yokozuna & Owen Hart come out. Back from a commercial break and Hakushi works the arm of Holly. Snapmare and choke by Hakushi and he covers for two. Armbar applied and we see The Kid take out Owen Hart outside. Holly snapmares Hakushi but he's sent down right after. Yokozuna sneaks up on The Kid with a crescent kick as Hakushi misses a super-plex attempt. Holly to the top rope and he nails a flying clothesline. Holly hammers away on Hakushi and puts him down with a roundhouse right. Irish whip and holly with a BAACK body drop for two. Irish whip and Holly with another dropkick for two. Holly off the ropes with a clothesline but Yokozuna trips him on a second and Hakushi nails some kind of running senton splash on Holly for the pinfall at 6:43. *1/4 I've seen better from these guys, but maybe it was lack of time.

- We get the first of the Interview saga of the night, as Vince McMahon brings out the reiging World Heavyweight Champion Diesel. Diesel still sucks and was the worst drawing champion remember. Diesel pretty much puts over Shawn Michaels' efforts from the night before, and offers hima rematch that would have taken place at the FIRST EVER In Your House (WWF's answer to Clash of The Champions) on PPV.

- Allied Powers vs. Well Dunn (w/ Harvey Wippleman):
With so many matches of the team of Well Dunn, I'm shocked that they haven't won ONE SINGLE ONE OF THEM! They even jobbed to the Bushwhackers. If you think they'll win here, you are CRAY-ZAY! I still love the mix of Bulldog & Lugers theme as one. Cornette makes fun of the flag bearers, who are probably eight years old each. Well hammers on Bulldog a bit but is caught with a gorilla press slam. Dunn tags in and Luger catches him in a press slam as well. Clotheslines send both men down and Bulldog hammers Well. Luger tags in and they nail a double back elbow and Luger gives Well a wedgie for two. Side headlock and shoulder block by Luger and he hammers Dunn in the corner. Well catches Luger with a spinning heel kick and Well Dunn pull off the Worlds Greatest Tag Team move of a leap frog over the parner into a butt splash for two. Well goes to the top rope and nails a flying back elbow for two. Irish whip and Luger slams Well's head into the canvas. Bulldog gets the hot tag and nails Dunn with a series of clotheslines and a BAACK body drop. Irish whip and Bulldog with a powerslam for two. Luger in to hammer on Timothy Well and he does a Flair-ish bump over the top. Bulldog catches Dunn in a press again and they pull the Hart Attack finisher exzcept Luger nails the diving forearm instead of a clothesline. Thats obviously good enough for three at 3:44. 3/4* Did it's purpose to put the Powers over some more. The Alied Powers Count: 2-0.

- WWF-Womens Championship Match:
Bull Nakano (c) vs. Alundra Blayze:

A Little back tracking, Bull defeated Blayze for the title in a Japan Supercard in the Egg Dome back in November 1994. This is Bull's first real defense on television, meaning she should have been stripped of the title MONTHS ago. Nakano attacks Blayze from behind with rights and slams Blayze's face into the canas. She goes upstairs but Alundra pulls out the hurricanrana seven years before Trish Stratus even dreamed about it. Irish whip and Bull catches Alundra with a nasty clothesline. Hair pull throw by Nakano and shes hammers Blayze. Leg drop connects for a two count. Half-Boson Crab turned into a modified ankle lock by Nakano! Looks like a Hardcore porn scene from certain angles.....okay I'm a pervert, so sue me. Bull goes to the second rope and chokes Blayze and follows up with a bulldog. Snapmare and Blayze comes back with a few hair snaps to take Nakano down. Irish whip and Blayze with a spinning heel kick! Blayze goes to the second rope for a missile dropkick! Blayze upstairs again for another missile dropkick for two! Irish whip is reversed and Blayze tries a sunset flip but Nakano squashes her for two. Figure Four turned into a sort of bow and arrow!!! I'm sorry but it's hard to describe. NAAASTY piledriver by Nakano and she covers for two. Nakano heads up again but Blayze nails a dropkick sending her to the outside. Blayze off the top rope with a plancha!! Back in the ring and Nakano catches Blayze with a powerbomb for two! Scoop slam by Bull and she goes for the gullotine leg drop and it connects!!! Nakano covers but only for two! German suplex is blocked and Blayze with a victory roll for two! Nakano blocks a german but Blayze nails it the second time for TWO! THIRD attempt and another kick out by Nakano! Blayze goes up again but Nakano kicks her leg out from under her sending Blayze to the outside but a SUICIDE DIVE by Nakano misses! German suplex on the arena floor!!!! Irish whip reversed and Nakano whips Blayze into the steel steps! Back in the ring and Nakano with a modified Michinoku driver! She misses a MOONSAULT!!! Blayze with the german suplex again and its good enough for three at 6:41!!! ***1/2 Great match for a Womens competition! And so out of nowere, some fat chick attacks Blayze from behind and beats her into the ground, breaking her nose as a result. She would later be known as Bertha Faye, although she looked a LOT different here.

- Part two of the Interview Saga as Shawn Michaels comes out with his bodyguard Sid. Michaels accepts Diesels challenge for a rematch at a later date, and then turns his attention to Sid. He says if it weren't for Sid, he would have become the champion last night. So for the next match, Shawn is giving Sid the night off. Sid has a hissy fit, causing Michaels to get all up in his face to cheers, making Sid backdown in fear. As Sid is about to leave Michaels turns around, only for Sid to come back in and clothesline him from behind......to CHEERS?! Sid lays a shit kicking in Michaels and connects with a majorly messed up Powerbomb, dropping Michaels nearly over his head on his ribs. A second and third powerbomb commenses, putting Michaels out. Diesel runs in for the SAVE~! and beats Sid out of the ring. Michaels face turn in the making here and Sid is finally woken up to become an active wrestler again in the World Wrestling Federation.

- Non-Title; Singles Match:
"Portuguese Man O' War" Aldo Montoya vs. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/ The Roadie):
For the record, this is the ONLY time I'm typing out Montoya's whole name that includes the nickname. Jarrett is still the reigning Intercontinental Champion here. Montoya comes dowen the aisle and throws Jarrett in the ring and connects with a cross body for two. Sunset flip gets another two count. Headlock takeover for two. Montoya with a shoulder block for another two count. Headlock takeover for ANOTHER two. Jarrett reverses for two of his own and Montoya turns it back into a headlock. Jarrett with a drop toe hold but he misses an elbow drop. Headlock takeover again by Montoya. Montoya off the opes and Roadie trips him up. Jarrett with a back elbow sends Montoya outside, where Roadie nails a clothesline for the 360 sell. Back in the ring and Jarrett comes off the second rope with a flying clothesline. Vertical suplex by Jarrett and he nails a series of elbow drops. Montoya is tossed out on the apron and Jarrett chokes. Roadie chokes him behind the referees back and talks spots...I mean trash to him. Irish whip to the buckle and Montoya sells like Bret. Jarrett connects with an ENZIGURI~! to the shock of me. Montoya tries another sunset flip but Jarrett tries punching him, only to hit canvas. Commercial Time! Montoya hammers on Jarrett and nails a double karate chop! Flying clothesline connects for two. Montoya with a back slide for another two count. Irish whip and Jarrett misses a corner charge. Montoya goes upstairs and nails a beautiful missile dropkick for two! Jarrett catches Montoya with a kick to the mouth and does a back suplex pin for....three!!!! But Montoya got his shoulder up and Jarrett didn't, giving ALDO MONTOYA the pinfall win at 5:29!!!! *1/2 Decent at best. Wow, I'm shocked they allowed Montoya to pin Jarrett without interference.

- The Smoking Gunns vs. The Shoguns (w/ Shinja & Harvey Wippleman):
The Shoguns are Hakushi & Kwang The Ninja. This is their first match as a team, so they pretty much wasted a good team name on these two. WOO Village Of The Damned commercial. First appearence of Michael Hayes on commentary (as Dok Hendrix) on these tapes. Shoguns attacks the Gunns from behind and Billy takes a bump to the outside. Bart ducks a double clothesline and sling shots Billy in for one of his own. Double dropkicks send both men down and Billy with an armbar. Bart to the top with a sit down splash across the arm of Kwang. Gunns work an armbar and Billy nails a dropkick to the belly of Wang. Scoop slam by Billy gets two. Bart works the arm of Kwang. Snapmare by Bart and a leg drop across the arm of Kwang. Billy off the ropes with a leg drop as well and he applies a modified arm bar. Hart Attack connects by The Gunns and Hakushi comes in to ditract Billy. Kwang continues taking a beating but is caught with a crescent kick. Kwang wastes his mist and Hakushi tags in for some double chopping. Hakushi with a series of headbutts and a slam in the corner. Second rope splash gets two and we go to a commercial. Front facelock by Hakushi and he hammers on him some more. Kwang in again and he kicks Bart a lot. Kwang off the ropes with a sit down splash across the second rope. Hakushi gets the tag and we get the double cross body spot. Billy gets the hot tag and hammers on Kwang and nails a big back elbow. Irish whip and Billy with a flying cross body for two! Kwang accidentally nails Hakushi with the spinning heel kick and Billy rolls him up for three at 7:42. 1/2* Pretty bland match, but had a bright moment or two.Kwang & Hakushi fight in the aisle now.

- Hunter Hearst-Helmsley vignette. WOW, who would have thunk he went from THIS to the Game we know of today. Future HHH makes fun of the Bushwhackers. If that was his target feud then no wonder hes clinging on to his spot.

- The Allied Powers vs. The Heavenly Bodies:
Taped from the Action Zone! The Bodies attack from behind, and double Irish whip the Powers into each other which does nothing and a double clothesline, and double suplex by the Eng-Am Connection. Gorilla Monsoon & Todd Pettingle are on commentary here. Delray with an eye rake to Bulldog, and Bulldog catches him and taps him in the tree of woe and headbutts his midsection. Luger & Prichard tag in for their respective teams. Monsoon claims something is going on between Diesel & Bam Bam Bigelow backstage. Luger catches Dr. Tom with a gorilla press slam. Todd shills WWF Magazine which features Luger & Michael Jordan on the cover. Bulldog tags in with and applies wrist lock, and nails a scoop slam. Prichard walks into an arm drag takeover and Bulldog with an armbar. The Bodies double team and Delray takes control but not for long. Clothesline by DBS only gets a one count. The Crowd is just DEAD for this. Random USA chants even though Luger is on the apron. Delray ducks between Bulldogs legs off an Irish whip and Prichard from behind with a bulldog. Back to action, Delray applies a rear chinlock on Bulldog and slams him. He drops an elbow for a two count. Double boot to the midsection by The Bodies and Prichard drives the knee into Bulldogs lower back. Bulldog breaks free but gets nailed by Jimmy Delray in the corner. Double Teaming again by The Heavenly Bodies, and Delray with a reverse chinlock again. Luger gets the tag, but the referee doesn't see it, and the Bodies with a double suplex on Bulldog. Davey Boy with a suplex and both men are down. Delray in and he prevents a tag. Prichard kicks away at Bulldog and chokes him for two. Inverted Atomic Drop & clothesline by Davey Boy. Jimmy shakes the hips and plants Bulldog with a neckbreaker and a snap suplex for two. Back again and Delray misses a moonsault off the top rope. A MOONSAULT? ON 1995 WWF TV?! NO WAY! Luger FINALLY gets the....nevermind he gets creamed by Prichard. Slam by the Dr. of Style, I mean Dr. Tom (hehe, damn it I goofed) Bulldog gets the knees up on him and FINALLY tags Luger who massacres the opponents. BACK body drop to Jigalo and a powerslam for two. Bulldog I'm and he eats boot. Davey Boy with an Irish whip and the running powerslam for three at 12:53. *1/2 Eh, I guess The Heavenly Bodies carried this match the best they could. Allied Powers record: 3-0.

- The Head Shrinkers (w/ Afa & Lou Albano) vs. The Blu Brothers (w/ Uncle Zeb):
Match starts off quick with both teams brawling to the floor. Seione with a shoulder tackle to a Blu. Fatu with a crescent kick to the other and does some mounted punching. Piledriver by Fatu gets two. Jiim Ross & Todd Pettingle are on PBP. Duel headbutts by The New Head Shrinkers. Seione slams "Jacob" and the double shoulder-block him. "Eli" slingshots Fatu under the bottom rope and drives the knee into the head. Fatu lays him out and the other Blu comes in. Eli stomps a mud hole in Fatu and chops at the chest. Eli with a dashing clothesline, and Fatu gets a boot in on him in the corner. Sit down splash by Eli and more double teaming. Jacob with a sleeper hold and Yokozuna & Owen Hart, the WWF tag Team Champions come to ringside. Back to the action and STILL a sleeper hold on Fatu. Fatu with a flying double clothesline and Seione in. He headbutts both men down and kicks Jacob in the head. Big boot connects to the jaw and scores the flying headbutt for two. Fatu is thrown outside and Yokozuna & Owen attack him. The Smoking Gunns kick ass on the tag champions and run in to attack the Blu's. The shrinkers fight the champions now and send them packing. DQ finish at 7:34. DUD Have I ever said I hated the Harris Brothers?

Todd runs us through the house details to exclusive video shots of it.

- WWF-World Championship Match:
Diesel (c) vs. Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Ted Dibiase):

Bigelow starts with a go behind takedown which is blocked by Diesel and he sends Bigelow to the mat, and he rolls to the outside. Shoulder block by Bigelow, nothing happens. Diesel with a series of clotheslines and a splash in the corner. Back elbows connect to the side of Bigelows head and Diesel with a hip toss that resembled a belly to belly. Diesel with a foot choke in the corner. Bigelow unloads and rakes the eyes, and Diesel grabs him by the face and sends him down for two with a clothesline. Diesel with a scoop slam and elbow drop for two again. Diesel with another foot choke and applies an armbar. Bigelow fights free and drives the shoulder into Diesels midsection. Bigelow with a slam of his own and a falling head-butt to the shoulder of Diesel. Flying clothesline by Diesel catches Bigelow and covers for only two. Bigelow pulls Diesel to the outside and rams his head into the apron, and ends Diesel into the post. Samoan drop by Bam Bam gets a two count. Bigelow with a chin lock on Diesel as the action resumes. Diesel up and drives the elbow in the midsection, he goes off the ropes, and both men nail each other with their heads, sending both down hard. Diesel back to his feet and splashes Bigelow for two! Diesel nails a sit down splash on Bigelow in the 2nd rope and calls for the jackknife. Bigelow with a boot to the face in the corner turns the tide and he sends Diesel into the buckle. Bigelow goes for a suplex, but its blocked and Diesel with his own on the 400 pounder for two again! Diesel back to his feat and applies a modified chin-lock. Bigelow breaks out and both men trade punches, which Diesel easily wins, but Bigelow grabs hold of Diesel and suplexes him! Bigelow covers for two. Bigelow applies a sleeper hold to catch his breath as he gasps for air greatly. Tatanka comes out to ringside while I ramble 'bout Bigelow. Front headlock by Bigelow now and into a side headlock, which is reversed by Diesel with a back suplex! Bam Bam hammers away some more. Bigelow chokes Diesel across the 2nd rope and Tatanka gets a shot in on Big Daddy Cool as well. Diesel nails Bigelow with a big boot and clothesline and goes for Dibiase who ducks away. Bigelow whips Diesel, which is reversed and Tatanka accidentally trips him! Diesel with another big boot and the powerbomb finishes it at 12:46 to retain the WWF Championship! *** After the match Dibiase gets in Bigelows face about losing to the (1-2-3) Kid, Lawrence Taylor and now Diesel. Bigelow is fired but Bigelow says he can't be fired, and says he quits, and he'll give Dibiase a million reasons why. He goes for him, but IRS & Tatanka are on the attack and beat the snot out of Bam Bam. Sid comes out and drives the boot into Bigelows midsection several times, and powerbombs him as well!! Show on my tape cuts off here, but I thought Diesel came out to make the save.

WWF Intercontinental Championship Match:
Jeff Jarrett © (w/ Roadie) vs. Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly:

Match is shown from the end when Jarrett pins Holly after laying the boots into his face, and rolling him up with the assitance of the second rope. Afterwards, another referee comes out and debates what happend so the match restarts. Holly comes off the top rope with a clothesline and covers for three, even though Jarretts feet were on the ropes for the title. These two men did the SAME finish a year ago from this date on my Winter/Spring 1994 Compilation. Bob Holly is mentioned as Intercontinental Champion, but I have to look that up. A rematch is set for the next Action Zone I believe.

Razor Ramon vs. Sid (w/ Ted Dibiase):
This is Sid's first official match back on Television I think although Vince Mcmahon mentions of Sid beating the crap out of Aldo Montoya this past weekend which was either an after match attack or he did have a match before this. Razor Ramon comes to his usual pyro in the ring, but Sid jumps him from behind THROUGH the pyro and connects with a clothesline! Sid powerbombs him soon after not once but TWICE. Match never started. Diesel makes the save again.

- Bret Hart comes to ringside for an interview with Vince Mcmahon. Lawler calls him out and issues a challenge to Bret for a match at In Your House. Lawler, thinking Bret would refuse because he has a match already sanctioned, thinks he has Bret one-uped into looking like a wimp, but Bret Hart takes Lawler up on his challenge as well and will face both him and Hakushi in singles matches on the PPV!

- Hakushi (w/ Shinja) Vs. Kwang:
Neither man had that good of a career in WWF, as Hakushi only hung around for less then a year while Savio Vega just went through the motions of being a Puerto Rican. Hakushi jumps Kwang before the match and puts him down with a chop. Kwang with martial arts kicks sends Hakushi outside. Hakushi from behind kicks at Kwangs leg. Hakushi with a handspring elbow in the corner to no reaction and a foot choke. Hakushi with a modified bronco buster to Kwang and gets booed. Hakushi puts the boots to Kwang and slams him. Kwang fights back with his martial arts crap. Michael Hayes & Vince Mcmahon on PBP btw. Hakushi gets laid out and Kwang with a big boot. Hakushi with a thrust turns the tide and he chokes away. Headlock by Hakushi as the announcers speculate Bret Hart's matches for In Your House. Both men trade chops and Kwang with a side suplex. Kwang spews mist, and the tape cuts off. Damn it! Match went about 6:00, by the looks of it, 1/4*

- Jeff Jarrett (WWF IC Champion-w/ Roadie) Vs. Doink The Clown (w/ Dink):
This was one of Doinks last major appearance of note in WWF, as he was being played by a 4th different person by now. WWF reminisces about Jeff Jarrett dressing as Doink on the Kings Court, where he smashed a pie in Dinks face, over a year ago from this show, meaning they brought up old history to put a match together on MNR. Doink attacks from behind with rights and a clothesline. Doink with a shoulder tackle, and he nails Roadie, and applies an arm-bar to Jarrett. Doink prevents cheating by the heels by kicking Roadies hand. Jarrett with a drop toe hold, but Doink back to an arm ringer and follows with a hip toss. Jarrett gets the boots up on Doink in the corner, but Doink nails Roadie and school boys Jarrett for two. Jarrett sends Doink face first into the mat when he goes for a back drop and Double J with a back elbow and clothesline. Doink in the buckle drives the boot in Jarretts face but misses an elbow drop, and Jarrett with an Irish whip, which is turned into a sunset flip by Doink for two. Jarrett with a snapmare and headlock. Doink is still down on the mat, and Jarrett with a form of an ankle lock. Doink goes for an enziguri but misses, which is the first time in a while I've seen that. Half crab by Jarrett as Vince mentions Bob Backlund having a BIG announcement next week. UH-OH. Doink is back to his feet but Jarrett with a sleeper hold immediately afterwards. Doink breaks free and plants Jarrett with a beautiful DDT. Doink with a powerslam for two. Doink whips Jarrett back and forth, and Dink bites Double J's butt. Roadie nails Doink in the knee ALA from Royal Rumble 1995, and Jarrett applies the figure four for the submission win at 6:55. *1/4 Man Jarrett sucked in WWF. I guess it was a bad Doink.

- Body Donnas Vignette. Basically them talking to a Television monitor from some weightlifting gym, making fun of overweight people.

- Vince McMahon introduces Sid & Ted Dibiase for an interview. Dibiase brings up Shawn Michaels, and about himself mentioning to Shawn to need a bodyguard, and how Dibiase brings up how he said it should be Sid. Dibiase then makes fun for Sid kicking HBK's butt on 4/3 Raw, then talks about Razor "Greaseball" Ramon, from the week before. Sid rambles about some Lion and makes scary faces. In WWF he is the super predator, he is the master, and at In Your House, he says he will lift Diesel 10 feet in the air and drive him through the mat.

- Owen Hart (w/ Mr. Fuji & Jim Cornette) vs. Bart Gunn (w/ Billy Gunn):
This is the traditional tag team partner vs. tag team partner before a pay per view match between both teams Gunn with a reverse drop toe hold for two. Owen with a side hammerlock but is thrown outside by his own momentum.Owen pearl harbor attacks Bart and lays it into him. Bart to the top rope with a cross body press for two. Bart with a wrist lock and drives the knee into the padded left elbow of Owen. Bart works the arm some more and slams Owen hard and drops the elbow, covering for two. Owen elbows Bart in the mouth and walks into a spinning side walk slam. Gunn off the ropes and Fuji trips him up. Owen knocks Gunn to the floor and rams his back into the ring post. Owen chokes away and poses to boos. Necbreaker by Hart gets two, Gunn follows with a sunset flip for two, but eats enziguri for two by Owen. Owen whips Gunn to the ropes and drives the knee into the mid-section and stomps his midsection. European uppercuts by Owen but he walks into a boot, but comes back with a clothesline for two. Gunn places Owen on the top turnbuckle, and scores a.....Owen throws him off and gets tripped up by Billy himself! Both men are down, and Bart up, and school boys Owen for.....three?! at 6:15 ** This pretty much means the champions will win. Decent Match, I guess Bart wanted the job back from the week before Wrestlemania X.

- The Allied Powers vs. Men on a Mission:
For those who don't know, Men on a Mission recently turned heel against the Smoking Gunns and their manager, Oscar (because Oscar wasn't interested in managing them as heels). Safe bet says they win to establish themselves against two top upper-midcard superstars. Bulldog starts a USA chant even though he has hailed from England & Canada (kinda). Luger & Mo start...but Mabel tags in already. Luger tries a shoulder-block but nothing happens. Kick and armbar by Luger, and Bulldog with a chop to the arm. Double Shoulder-block does nothing either, but a double diving one does knock down Mabel, and Mo gets thrown out of the ring. JR makes fun of Todd for being from UPSTATE New York. Bulldog officially in now and so is Mo. Mo with some minor offensive maneuvers but Bulldog stall suplexes him for two. Mabel in, and Bulldog goes for a crucifix, and, of course, Mabel squashes him. Mabel steps on Bulldog a lot after that. Choking by MOM and Mo in, with elbows and kicks to the back for two. Double Teaming galore, and Mabel with a clothesline for two. Reverse chinlock by Mabel, but Bulldog fights up, with Mabel on his back, and holds him on his shoulders standing up!!!! Bulldog drops Mabel backwards to the mat hard and both men are down. Crowd popped nicely for that one. Mo covers Bulldog for a two count off of something not shown, and Luger didn't get the tag. Suplex by Mo gets another two. Mabel in, and a double clothesline puts them both down again. Luger & Mo tag in and Luger unloads, and nails a running knee lift and clothesline for two, and Mabel breaks it up. Bulldog fights with Mabel and knocks him outside. Bulldog is pulled out and eats stairs. Luger with a powerslam, but Mabel comes in to break the torture rack and the referee DISQUALIFIES them at 10:12 for interfering TOO Much. When was the last time we have seen THAT call? Mabel splashes Luger after the bell. Match was about *1/2, meaning it was decent but nothing good. Allied Powers record: 4-0.

- King Of The Ring Qualifying Match:
Adam Bomb vs. Mabel (w/ Mo):

OK, so it's not really special, but I like to cover as many of the Qualifiyng Matches I can to lead into the PPV so I know who sucks even though we know the out comes. From In Your House #1. Men on a Mission have recently turned heel after beating the crap out of the Smoking Gunns a few times, and their manager, Oscar, which meant Oscar was leaving the WWF. First qualifiyng Match of the year. Danny Davis is still a WWF referee. No bell sounds so take my time for what its worth. Bomb hammers on Mo before the match so Mabel beats Bomb down with clubbing forearms. NOW the bell rings and Mabel nails an avalanche. Irish whip but a second splash misses allowing Bomb to hammer on Mabel with roundhouse rights and a diving shoulder tackle to send Mabel outside. Adam Bomb with a plancha on Mabel!! Back in the ring and Bomb nails is sling shot clothesline back in the ring for ONE! Bomb to the top rope and he nails a high elevation clothesline for one again. Mabel won't even sell, jesus. Mabel catches Bomb with a falling on his ass, a.k.a., spinning heel kick and nails a powerslam for three at 1:52. 1/4* For the plancha, otherwise a rushed, crappy match.

- WWF In Your House:
Syracuse, New York - Mothers Day 1995 (May 15th?):
Some Brief comments about each match, as I have no means to do reviews of Pay-Per-Views anymore.

Bret Hart vs. Hakushi: MOTN to open the show with Bret making Hakushi look like a million bucks before finishing him off with a modified victory roll. **** Without a doubt.

Handicap Match: Razor Ramon vs. Jeff Jarrett & The Roadie: This is only a handicap match because the 1-2-3 Kid kind of hurt his neck a few weeks before the show, so Ramon went it alone. Ramon picks up the win in one of the best Handicap Matches ever. *** After the match Savio Vega (formerly Kwang the WEEKEND OF THE PPV!) makes the save after a failed one by Aldo Montoya.

Adam Bomb vs. Mabel: See Above.

WWF Tag Team Title Match: Yokozuna & Owen Hart vs. Smoking Gunns: Not even close to being as good as their Wrestlemania match. As predicited, champs walk out with the win. *1/2

Bret Hart vs. Jerry Lawler: Lawler brings out his mother before the match although she looks to be maybe 25 years old. Thats really the only highspot of the match besides Bret faking a knee injury until the match starts and then jogging around a bit. Lawler cheats to win with help from Hakushi & Shinja. 1/2*

WWF Title Match: Diesel vs. Psycho Sid: Pretty bland match considering niether man is known for carry jobs. Diesel wins by DQ when Tatanka runs in. * Bam Bam Bigelow makes the save which would lead into the King of the Ring Main Event. During this match though Sid powerbomb Diesel, causing him to land funny on his elbow, putting Diesel on the shelf until the next big show.

Final Thoughts: This is a combination of two tapes in one because of PPV's making residence on the same tapes as regular T.V matches but still covers the same amount of time. Still, nothing was really worth it on the regular T.V portions, and the PPV's only featured a few good matches. The year is only a little less than half-over, and there's still a lot more crap to weed through.
