Guest Rasslin Review #20 - WWF May - June 1994
From Our Pal, "OrangeGoblinFan". From late 1993 to late 1995, I was actually working hard at the whole art thing and I had no idea what was going in wrestling. Plus, I was too busy delivering tortillas, wearing flannel and hanging out at used CD stores in my free time.

!---------------------begin guest column-----------------! WWF Compilation Review: (May-June 1994)
After going over my reviews, I realized a gap, between Wrestlemania and King of The Ring. So thus, I forgot about this tape, and here I am, working my butt off trying to finish it. This includes the KOTR Qualifying Matches of 1994, so expect tons of crap with little to no work-rate what so ever.

- WWF-Intercontinental Championship Match:
Razor Ramon (c) vs. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett:

This was before Jarrett meant ANYTHING in WWF, so don't expect a win here from him. Hey, Nikolai Volkoff is in attendance wearing the same suit he's had since 1985. I loved Jarrett's flashing sunglasses. Ramon is either way over or the canned cheers were over done. Both men echange go behinds and Jarrett takes him down, and slaps him across the back of the head. Lockup again and Ramon is sent to the buckle. Jarrett with an arm drag and he applies a hammerlock. Jarrett works the arm until they criss cross off the ropes, which ends with Ramon catching Jarrett with a fall away slam. Jarrett of course, stalls. He drags Ramon to the outside and slams his head into the ring. Ramon comes back with rights in the ring and he gollows with an arm drag and clothesline. More stalling. Jarrett again brings Ramon outside and slams his head into the steps. Back inside and Jarrett with a back elbow for two. Jarrett with a snapmare and he comes off the second rope with a Lawler fist drop for two again. Chinlock applied and we get some time to kill. Back from break and Ramon with a sunset flip for two. Jarrett with a clothesline and he slaps on a sleeper hold. Ramon comes back and nails a back suplex for two. Off the ropes and Ramon with a boot to the midsection followed by a series of roundhouse rights. Jarrett uses Ramons tights as leverage to send him to the outside. Here comes Shawn Michaels to bitch out Ramon. Ramon attacks him and he nails Jarrett with a fist to the midsection. Back in the ring and Ramon hammers away and nails an arm drag and inverted atomic drop. Clothesline sends JArrett over and out. Michaels on the apron and he is brought in. Ramon hammers away and the match is thrown out at 9:41. Razors Edge attempt on HBK is stopped by Diesel, who nails Ramon with a big boot followed by a series of Jackknife Powerbombs. *1/2 Nothing special, as they'd have better matches down the road.

- WWF-Intercontinental Championship Match:
Razor Ramon (c) vs. Diesel (w/ Shawn Michaels):

From Superstars, and this is of course, a special match. Ramon rushes the ring and hammers on Diesel with rights and he goes for the Edge early, but Diesel back drops him off. Diesel misses the boot and Ramon takes him down with a clothesline. Ramon with more rights and a discus punch sends Diesel to the outside. Ramon hammers some more, but Diesel catches him with a gullotine drop across the top rope. Back in the ring and Diesel with a big clothesline followed by elbows in the corner. Diesel with a series of knee lifts and he whips Ramon to the buckle hard and catches him with a swinging side suplex for two. Snake Eyes by Diesel and he nails a second rope sit down splash Boss Man style. Back from break and Diesel with an elbow drop across the back of the neck for two. Diesel with a a modified chinlock and Ramon brings him up into the electric chair drop position and slams him backwards hard, and both men are down. Ramon covers for two. Ramon with a series of rights backs Diesel into the corner. Ramon with a boot in the corner and a second rope bulldog for two! Scoop slam by Ramon gets two again! HBK on the apron and Ramon nails him off! Diesel catches Ramon with a knee to the midsection. Michaels removes a turnbuckle in the far side of the corner, and Ramon whips Diesel into him, sending Michaels into the aisle. Diesel whips Ramon into the exposed steel and nails the jackknife for three to win the the Intercontinental Title at 5:43! **3/4 Better than it had any right to be, proving Nash use to be a decent worker. Michaels & Diesel celebrate outside the ring as Lawler gloats.

- Mo (w/ Oscar) vs. "The Rocket" Owen Hart:
From Wrestling challenge. Lockup. Owen shoves, and a slap follows and Owen hides in the ropes. WOOOO! Armbar by Mo reversed. Reversed again and owen re-reverses. Hammerlock by Mo.Reversed again anbd again. 2 more reversals and owen with a drop toe hold to side headlock. Mo with a hammerlock and a knee to the arm. Elbow by Owen and an eye rake. Hiptoss and arm drag by Mo (!). Armbar by Mo. Kick by Owen and Owen works on him. Owen with eye rakes across the top rope. Mo eats buckle and a spinning heel kick from Owen, who follows with a Modfied Camel Clutch. Running knee to the gut of Mo and a stomp to the midsection. Back body drop by Mo. Series of rights and a spine buster gets 2. Inside Cradle by Mo gets 2 (!). Mo spills over thanks to Owen and is counted out cause he hurt his leg at 5:50. Owen doesnt care, beats Mo down and locks on the Sharpshooter. Surprisingly good match Owen gets out of Mo. ** is good enough for this.

- WWF-Tag Team Championship Match:
The Quebecers (c) (w/ Johnny Polo) vs. Head Shrinkers (w/ Afa & Lou Albano):

This match is JIP from Monday Night Raw taped from Mania. Samu backs Jacques into the corner, and Rogeau rakes the eyes. Irish Whip and Samu nails Jacques with a headbutt for two. Pierre comes in and accidentally nails Jacques. Double Irish Whip sends both Quebecers outside and The Shrinkers celebrate while the Quebecers take a breather. CLIP and Pierre nails Fatu with a massive clothesline with over sell. Jacques tags in and he hammers Fatu outside and sends him into the steel steps. Irish Whip and Rougeau with a back elbow and Pierre in. USA Chants for the SAMOANS. Double Neck snap and Jacques slams Pierre ontop of Fatu for two. Pierre hamers more and Jacques in. Pierre with a VICIOUS clothesline and Jacques covers for two. Scoop slam and Pierre is back in and is back dropped onto Fatu for two again. Back from break, and Fatu back drops Pierre onto the outside. Jacques tosses him back in as both teams tag. Samu hammers both Quebecers with rights and headbutts. Double Noggin Knocker by Samu and a slam to Jacques. Back drop to Pierre but he misses a charge on Jacques and he hangs himself in the ropes. Jacques with a piledriver and he tags in Pierre for the Tower of Quebec, and it MISSES!!!! Albano & Afa take care of Polo. Quebecers miscomunicate and Pierre hits Jacques back. Samu sends Pierre to the outside, and Fatu gets the hot tag. Double Front Face russian Leg Sweep by the Shrinkers, and Fatu comes off the top rope with the Big Splash, and thats good enough for three and the titles at 9:01!!! **1/2 Another pretty decent match, and another big title change on (kinda) free television.

- King Of The Ring Qualifying Match:
Scott Steiner vs. Irwin R. Schyster:

From an episode of Superstars. This is the first of the Qualifyers, and it pits old rivals. Same case as last year, as MOST losers were soon to be out of WWF. Scott doesn't have Rick with him for some reason. Steiner actually comes out FIRST. I.R.S tax cheats of the week are Tatanka, a little kid and VINCE McMAHON! Steiner with a series of rights, and IRS catches him with an atomic drop. Steiner comes back with an arm drag and slam followed by the double underhook-powerbomb! I.R.S rests outside so Steiner comes out and rams his head into the steps. Back in the ring and I.R.S introduces Steiner to the buckles. I.R.S pummels Steiner more with hard rights. Irish Whip and Scott nails I.R.S with a series of dropkicks. Irish Whip again and Steiner with an over-head belly-to-belly suplex for two! Back from break and Steiner has an armbar applied. Steiner with a suplex for two and he goes back to the armbar. Steiner with a headlock and I.R.S rolls through with pins several times. Scott off the ropes and I.R.S with a knee to the gut, but he misses an elbow drop, and Steiner has the armbar back on. Damn Rotundo is sweating like hell. Head scissors by Steiner, and he puts I.R.S in an abdominal stretch and cheats! I.R.S rakes the eyes to break the hold and whips him to the buckle, but he meets boot. Ten mounted punches in the corner by Steiner and he comes with a sunset flip, but I.R.S blocks and holds the rope for two. Sunset flip is finished but I.R.S reverses and uses the ropes for leverage to pick up the win at 6:48. ** Decent match overall. Rick comes out now to argue, so the Steiners chase Irwin into the crowd. This marked Scott (and Rick's) Steiner's end in WWF, as this was his final television appearence.

- The Bushwhackers vs. Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette):
Taped from an episode of Wrestling Challenge. Excuse me while I don't pay attention. The Whackers bite the Bodies to the outside to start. More brawling and the Whackers whips them into each other and nail simultanious atomic drops and clotheslines. Luke and Delray start and do a test of strength. Butch headbutts him behind the referees back and Luke does....stuff. Prichard tries doing the same but he headbutts his partns groin by mistake. More comedy ensues and its double whip time again. Triple Noggin Knocker and Cornette is licked. Comedy ends finally as the Bodies work over Luke of course. Delray nails a moonsault on Butch to end this crap at 7:59. DUD. Luke chases them off with Cornettes racket afterwards. Oops, I taped an episode of Salute Your Shorts on this tape way back when.

- King Of The Ring Qualifying Match:
Mabel vs. Quebecer Pierre:

On Raw last week Ramon qualified by defeating Kwang The Ninja. Another unique half-tag team match. No managers allowed at ringside for this match. Pierre jumps Mabel and lays a shit kicking in the corner. Whip to the buckle is reversed and Mabel misses an avalanche. Pierre with clotheslines and he goes to the top rope and nails a missile dropkick for two! Pierre upstairs again but Mabel slams him off. Scoop slam by Mabel and he goes to the second rope, and misses a splash. Pierre to the top rope again, and he nails a leg drop for two! Pierre tries a slam but Mabel falls on top for two. Irish Whip and Mabel with a sidewalk slam and that wins it at 2:57! 1/2* Quick match, but not totally worthless. Oscar comes out to celebrate the win.

- King Of The Ring Qualifying Match:
"Sparky" Thurman Plugg vs. Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Luna Vachon):

Winner of this one takes on Razor Ramon in the Quarter-Finals on PPV, so that already gives away the winner. Lockup and Bigelow shoves Plugg all the way to the outside. Bigelow hammers him in the ring, and Plugg comes back with a shoulderblock and dropkick sending Bigelow outside. Back in and Bigelow rakes the eyes followed by a slam. Headbutt misses, but he does catch Plugg with a powerslam for two. Plugg with boots to the midsection and a series of rights, but Bigelow stops him with a headbutt and nails a big back elbow. Headbutts by Bigelow and he whips Plugg to the corner. Plugg catches him with a big boot and more punches but Bigelow nails an enziguri (!) for two! Rear chinlock by Bigelow applied, and he continues the punishment on Plugg. Bigelow with a slam followed by a headbutt, and he chokes Plugg across the top rope. Whip to the buckle, and Bigelow misses an avalanche! Bulldog by Plugg followed by a DDT! Plugg heads to the top rope, and he nails a high cross body for two! Small Package by Plugg gets two again! Plugg with clotheslines and Vachon trips him up on a third. Bigelow with a clothesline and he nails a sling shot splash for the win at 6:27. **1/4 Another semi-decent match. Much better than last years tournament so far.

- CLASSIC segment from the Kings Court. Ted Dibiase is the guest, and he apparently has bought the services of Nikolai Volkoff. Volkoff apparently has no money, so he's doing this against his will. Dibiase throws insults at him left and right. Volkoff says he hates Dibiase and Ted laughs. Dibiase makes Volkoff get rid of his little russian cap. Dibiase had a new outfit made for him, and it's coming out of his pay of course. Dibiase gives him a pair of trunks that read "Property Of The Million Dollar Man." Volkoff reluctently puts them on. Next Dibiase insults Volkoffs jacket, that has an American & Out of Date Russian Flag criss-crossing. Dibiase makes him take it off. Dibiase is raping Volkoff's dignity. Dibiase has a tuxedo....SHIRT for Volkoff. It has a giant Cent sign on the back of it. Mark Henry is mentioned as an olympic power lifter. GREAT Segment. Just funny as hell.

- Sumo Wrestling Match:
Earthquake vs. Yokozuna (w/ Mr. Fuji & Jim Cornette):

Must I really do this one? Basically, the only way to pin is to push any part of your opponents body out of the ring. The Ropes have been removed, but the turnbuckles remain of course. Both men Stall....FOREVER, and do their salt ceremony four times! Earthquake has on Yokozuna atire, but it's a teal color instead of Yoko's red. Earthquake was undefeated as a Sumo Wrestler in Japan by the way. Both men try shoving each other out, but it's a deadlock. Earthquake eventually wins with a hard shove knocking Yokozuna on his ass backwards and falling to the floor at about 6:00. N/R Because of the unusual match and it's rules.

- Duke "The Dumpster" Droese vs. Mike Bell:
This is Droese's WWF DEBUT~! Droese dumps a load of garbage on Lawler. Bell jumps Droese with rights but he's caught with a lunging clothesline. Suplex by Droese and he puts on a headlock. Back Suplex by the Dumpster and he nails the MAIN EVENT SPINEBUSTER! Droese was trained by the same guy who trained HHH. Rear chinlock by Droese and he nails a back elbow. Side Winder Slam by Droese gets three at 2:16. DUD For a Jobber match. Lawler says Droese is the only person to have a leash on a cockroach, and Vince breaks kayfabe laughing at a heels joke.

- King Of The Ring Qualifying Match:
Lex Luger vs. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/ Mr. Fuji):

This is a toss up match, as no opponent has been set yet in thier bracket. Lockup is won by Luger obviously, and we get a shove fight. Headlock by Luger followed by a shoulderblock WITH AUTHORITY! Jarrett rakes the eyes and rams Lugers head into the buckle several times. Jarrett with shoulder thrusts in the corner but he can't hip toss hi and Luger with one of his own followed by a CROSS BODY PRESS for two! Jarrett with a headlock and go behind hammerlock turned into an armbar. Luger comes back with a gorilla press slam and a string of vicious clotheslines. Fuji nails Luger in the back with his flag pole and Jarrett is on the attack. Jarrett continues kicking and Luger with a school boy for two. More kicking by Jarrett and he nails a double axehandle off the top rope. Jarrett catches Luger with a boot in the corner and nails a clothesline off the second rope for two. Luger is sent to the outside, and here comes CRUSH to ram his head into the steel steps. Luger recovers...and goes after Crush and they brawl as the referee counts out Luger at 6:52, allowing Jarrett to Qualify! * Nothing match, but decent for Luger.

- King Of The Ring Qualifying Match:
Doink The Clown (w/ Dink) vs. "The Rocket" Owen Hart:

This was to be Earthquake but he wanted out of his contract and went to WCW with crap gimmicks. So we get everyone's favorite jobber, Doink. Owen attacks before the bell but eats buckle. Owen with a few roundhouse rights and an eye rake followed by choke on the top rope. European uppercut by Owen, but he eats buckle and Doink with a side headlock reversed with a back suplex and Owen nails a second rope elbow for two. Doink up and gets a hip toss and arm rag followed by a scoop slam. Back Body Drop and standing drop-kick put Owen to the outside. Owen goes after Dink, which is OK by me. Ten punches of doom very slowly by Owen and an eye rake. Doink hip toss. Owen outside again. Owen chases Dink and runs into a Doink clothesline. A MIDGET OUTSMARTED OWEN?! Doink with a slam on the floor. Owen posts Doink and rams his leg into it several times. Back from break and Owen with a drop-kick for two. chinlock by Owen. Belly to Belly Suplex gets two. Camel Clutch submission. Double clothesline. Doink's hair is coming off. Doink with some heavy shots on Owen and an elbow. Belly to Belly by Doink gets two. I miss the EVIL Doink. Ten punches of doom by Doink. Neck breaker by Doink. Jarrett kidnaps Dink. Owen with a kip up and a school boy on Doink gets three at 8:29. Nothing bad here either. Owen sure can get people to work. ***. Coming down to the end of Qualifying Matches.

- King Of The Ring Qualifying Match:
1-2-3 Kid vs. Adam Bomb (w/ Harvey Wippleman):

In the other Qualifying Match I don't have on tape, Tatanka defeated Crush in a Lumberjack Match after Luger interfered. Crush subbed for Jimmy Delray in the first match, but it was a 2xCO, so they had a rematch. This is another special match, but it was something that meant nothing in the long haul anyway. Lockup and Bomb with a knee to the midsection. Kid eats some buckle and Bomb with a SUPER hip toss, followed by a stiff clothesline. Scoop slam and elbow drops by Bomb get two. What happend to Bryan Clarke that made him suck so bad when he went to WCW. Bomb with a back breaker and some choking. Bomb chokes Kid across the top rope and sling shots him to the middle of the ring. Snap suplex and float over by Bomb gets two! Irish whip and Bomb with a back body drop, but he misses a clothesline and Kid back drops him to the outside. Kid with a plancha but Bomb catches him and slams him hard on the floor. Wippleman kicks Kid a few times and Bomb comes back out to lay The Kid out again. Snapmare by Bomb and he applies a rear chinlock. Second rope sit-down splash by Bomb and he misses a second! The Kid hammers at him and nails a spinning heel kick for two! Kid to the top rope and he nails a cross body press. Bomb catches him with a side suplex, and here's Kwang, and Bomb holds Kid in place for a mist job, but Kwang nails Bomb with it and The Kid rolls him up for three at 5:12!! *** Pretty enjoyable match out of Bomb, something I didn't think he could do. After the match in the parking lot, a furious Adam Bomb assaults Wippleman a bit, and wants to kick Kwangs ass in the ring. Ladies and Gentleman, Your Face Turn of Adam Bomb.

- Adam Bomb vs. Kwang The Ninja:
Wippleman isn't at ringside for this, but we can guess he will be out before the match ends. Bomb hammers on Kwang with rights and chokes him in the corner. Kwang comes back with rights and a spinning heel kick. Both men trade shots and Bomb with a knee lift and chokes. Kwang comes back with mounted rights and they tumble to the outside. Wippleman is coming out like predicted as the two brawl. Back in the ring and Kwang hammers Bomb and rams his head into te buckle followed by a clothesline. More choking from both men and Bomb hammers back. Bomb comes back with a kick to the head followed by a clothesline. Both men trade rights and Bomb sends Kwang over the top rope. Kwang is held back by Wippleman and Bomb wins by count-out at 3:04. DUD Nothing match here.

The Smoking Gunns vs. Yokozuna & Crush (w/ Mr. Fuji & Jim Cornette):
Odd that this is the Gunns first match on the tape. Gunns pummel the heels a bit and whip them into each other and it's a double noggin knocker and double dropkicks to both men as the crowd explodes! Crush & Billy start off officially and Crush chokes him, and lands a series of rights. Big boot by Billy and he nails a second rope reverse bulldog for two. Billy with an armbar and Bart comes in for a double suplex. (2:36) Bart covers for two and applies an armbar. Gunn off the ropes and Yokozuna pulls down the middle one, causing Bart to fall outside. Crush sends Bart back in and nails a back breaker. Yokozuna tags in as Crush chokes Bart. Double clothesline connects and the Foreign Fanatics with some more brutal punishment. Back from break and Yokozuna with a nerve hold on Bart...in a TAG match. Bart fights free but runs into a clothesline by the fat man. Yoko misses the avalanche and Billy gets the tag and he nails a bulldog! Inverted Atomic Drop to Crush followed by a clothesline and its another noggin knocker. Crush is sent to the buckle, and we get simultanious mounted corner punches. Yokozuna dumps bart, and Billy nails him with a cross forearm for TWO! Crush with a gorilla press slam and Yokozuna nails the leg drop of doom for the easy pin at 7:28. * Decent enough for what it was.

- ANOTHER Classic King's Court, where he berrates Roddy Piper by bringing in some kid dressed like him, who looks to me like a cancer patient. Not that he is, just saying he looks sick. Lawler abuses him a bit, as he acts like Piper and crawls on his hands and knees out of the ring.

- Yet another classic segment in a bad way, it's the Heartbreak Hotel, with special guest Ted Dibiase. He claims he has done to impossible and he's brought someone back home. From the Darkside....the Undertaker!!! Yes, it's the debut/first appearence ever of Brian Lee dressed as The Undertaker. At least in full costume (hat, robe, etc.) you can't see he's a total fake.

- Highlights from the First Ever WWF Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Included are James Dudley, Buddy Rogers, Bobo Brazil, Arnold Skaaland, Classy Freddie Blassie, Chief Jay Strongbow and Gorilla Monsoon. Lord Alfred does the voice over. Hey, Linda McMahon was ugly even in 1994. Regis Philbin recollects a story of him and Fred Blassie where Regis fondled his hair, causing Blassie to chase him and take his jacket, and rip it apart.

- Koko B. Ware vs. "The Rocket" Owen Hart:
High Energy Explodes! Shove match and a slap by Owen. Spinning Heel Kick. He never liked Koko says Owen. He rakes his eyes across the ropes. Koko with a Stiff clothesline and standing dropkick. Scoop Slam and a series of arm drags and he applies an armbar. Tatanka is watching the match from a podium in the audience. Scoop Slam by Owen and an elbow drop misses. Koko with the armbar again. Eye rake by Owen. I always liked Koko. Monkey flip "botched" and a kick to the leg by Owen. Owen posts the leg a few times. Stomp to the leg and leg snap. Owen with the sharopshooter ends it at 3:19. Nothing match. * cause its Owen, and atleast the match had a nice pace. This would be Koko's final appearence on WWF T.V until he dressed up as The Blue Blazer ironically in 1999.

- Mabel (w/ Oscar) vs. Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Ted Dibiase):
This one isn't going to be pretty. Volkoff sneak attacks Mabel with rights and kicks. Headlock and punch by Volkoff. Forearm to the chin followed by a big boot and knee to the chest gets two for Volkoff. Voloff with kicks to the face and he chokes him. Mabel whips him to the buckles and nails a shoulder tackle for two. Drop toe hold (!) by Mabel and he turns it into a form of ankle lock. I.R.S runs out for the DQ at 1:44 and pummels Mabel, his KOTR Opponent for the PPV later. Tatanka runs out to make the save and chops away at I.R.S. Here comes Owen and you can guess. DUD although pretty quick.

- WWF-Tag Team Championship Match:
Head Shrinkers (c) (w/ Afa & Albano) vs. The Quebecers (w/ Johnny Polo):

Another moderately special match. Samu hammers on Jacques and nails a headbutt. Pierre in and he nails a boot to Fatu and nails a flying clothesline for two. Diving tackle by Fatu and he nails a bionic elbow and headbutt. Slam is blocked and Pierre with a school boy for two and he follows with a super clothesline with oversell. Irish Whip and Fatu comes off with a diving forearm. Jacques in again and he plants a boot in Fatu's midsection. Irish Whip and Jacques rams Fatu's head into the canvas...which is no sold, and Fatu with a superkick and powerslam. Back from break and Jacques has Samu in a weak camel clutch. Pierre unloads on Samu and whips him hard to the buckle for two. Double snap back on Samu and Pierre is slammed onto Samu for two. Slam by Jacques and it's Tower of Quebec time...and it MISSES of course! Double clothesline misses and Samu dropkicks both men. Fatu gets the hot tag finally and he unloads on jacques and nails a back elbow and a clothesline to Pierre. Back drop on Jacques. Headbutt to the groin of Pierre gets two for Fatu. Samu clotheslines Jacques to the outside and they nail the front face russian leg sweep on Pierre. Fatu goes upstairs and nails the Samoan splash! The Shrinkers win it at 7:18. *3/4 Not as good as the last match these teams had together. This marked the last match of the Quebecers as a team on television (until the next information is revealed), and ironically, the last match of Jacques Rougeau's career...until he came out of retirement in 1997.

- Mabel (w/ Oscar) vs. Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Luna Vachon):
Night after King Of The Ring. Both men lost in the first round so they fight each other. Mabel wins the lockup and backs Bigelow into the corner, and he rakes the eyes of Mabel followed by an enziguri. Big forearms to Mabel and Bigelow with a snapmare and kick to the head! Mabel Hulks-Up but a headbutt by Bigelow stops him. Whip to the buckle and Mabel nails a big boot and leg drop (BOO!) but Luna dstracts Mabel from pinning. Elbow drop misses. Bigelow accidentally whips Mabel into Luna and she takes a nasty bump. Clotheslines by Mabel and he slams Bigelow. Oscar checks on Luna while Bigelow nails a big avalanche. Bigelow shoves Oscar away as he goes to help out Luna, and Mabel follows out to splash Bigelow on the outside. Bigelow and he brawl, and Mabel rolls back in in time to count out Bigelow at 3:31. 1/2* for Mabel being able to actually do bumps. Ted Dibiase comes out as Bigelow & Luna argue, and I guess Dibiase buys the services of Bam Bam, thus making this Luna's last appearence as Bigelows manager.

Final Thoughts: Nothing great on this tape, and ZERO Bret Hart matches makes me a bit sad. There were two big title changes out of nowhere on free television, plus some debuts and returns (mostly bad ones) and the final appearences of Scott Steiner, Koko B. Ware, Earthquake & Jacques Rougeau for years. You can see though Owen Hart was working his ass off for the push he was getting.
