eStragand Corporation to run in 2006 Furry Scurry

Denver- April 19, 2006- The eStragand Corporation held a press conference today to announce their upcoming participation in the 13th annual Denver Dumb Friends League's 2006 Furry Scurry. The event will be held in Denver's Wahsington Park on Saturday, May 6 at 9am.

The eStragand Corporation's chief runner in the event will be the Director of Security/Mascot, Ace. Ace has been in training for this rigorous event and plans to out-run at least one brain-damaged gerbil, blind cat or box turtle. He's been increasing his workout regiment and has reduced his napping time to only 21 hours per day. Furrthermore, Ace has persisted in his strict diet of Purina Beneful, the occasional can of Alpo Diced Cuts, rawhide chews, Pupperoni sticks, peanut butter and whatever else finds its way to the floor.

Several rest stations and water bowls will be stationed around the grueling two-mile course. Ace plans to spend an equal amount of time at each rest station. Plans are also underway for Ace to alleviate drought conditions by watering select portions of the Washington Park greenery.

Ace was unavailable for comment at press time.

The Denver Dumb Friends League is an animal shelter that provides care and finds homes for thousands of abandoned, homeless, injured and sick animals. Ace was adopted from the facility in 2002, following on the success of former eStragand mascot, Doodle, who was adopted from the same facility in 1980.

The attending crowd at the press conference was overjoyed at the announcement and voiced their approval with several seconds of applause. Colorado Governor Bill Owens was on hand and stated: "This proves that Colorado is a dynamic, interactive and exciting state, with generally nice weather".
