Other info |
Feel free to visit the ES Board to set up trades with other visitors to this site. Or just to gab about music in general.
You can also visit
GonzoLoco's trading page. I've swapped several shows with this guy
over the past few months. He's very reliable and easy to get along with.
Contact Me if you'd like to work out a trade, or contribute to the ES Pantheon of Cool People.
I have a couple of stupid guidelines to make things easier. These aren't meant to be intimidating,
but are worth mentioning. These aren't RULES, just guidelines.
- Please use "Disc-at-once" (DAO) mode when recording your CDs. If you
send me "Track-At-Once" (TAO) CDs, I will NOT send you anything in return.
Sending me a TAO CD is the same as
sending me a Cher CD.
- If it's the first time we're
trading, I like to trade ONE CD or show to begin with. This is just to make sure everybody's
happy before we commmit to additional trades.
- Again, for first timers: if you contacted me, I won't send out your
requested CD until I receive yours. I get alot of young buckaroos asking :"I like teh
Tool albums. Send me yur Tool CD and I'll sent you mine" (an actual
transcription of an e-mail request). Not until I get yours, son.
- I don't expect or
send out jewel cases, unless requested. Saves postage for both of us. Plus, they
always seem to get smashed by our friends at the post office.
- Standard or Media mail is okay. I send things in a padded
envelope from Office Depot (the ones with the little duckie on the back).
Insurance, registered mail, etc is not
required.
- Artwork's not required. My day job is making artwork all day, and
I could care less about your crappy "artwork" involving 3-D text and
unregulated use of Photoshop filters.
- A track listing and date/location of show would score you some cool points. Really, this is my biggest pet peeve, especially for Iron Maiden shows. Please, please
PLEASE do not tell me "I have 'Scream for me Boston' for trade." I really, really REALLY
appreciate a date and location. This tells me what album the show was supporting and
the date is UNIQUE. I've run across a few cases where I've seen shows with different names,
but the same exact date and location. A unique date and location helps to distinguish each show.
If you don't have a date, we can still trade...I understand that it happens.
- Nothing is for sale. Not looking to make money or e-Bay this stuff.
- If you want some of this stuff and have nothing to trade...well,
don't bother e-mailing me. I've been nice enough to send stuff out for three years now, and
it's been a massive pain in the ass. If you're a rookie at trading, I feel for you...
but go bust your trading hymen elsewhere.
- Sometimes, I even trade video tapes. A 2:1 ratio
(2 CD's for one tape) seems to be fair. Most of the
"Rasslin Tapes"
over in the "sports" section are available for trade. Same for the
"TV stuff" portion of "comics". I don't actively seek out
new videos, but if you have something really spiffy that you'd think I'd like, drop me a line.
Typically, 80's pro wrestling and rare superhero cartoons make me happy.
