COMICS-Make Your Own Bat-Plane!
In honor of today's holiday (12/24, the Birthday of Lemmy Kilmeister from Motorhead), the
geeks at eStragand.com have come up with the following little bid o' fun for you.
This is a GIF of a proposed Bat-Plane movie serial promo from the 40's.
It's blatantly ripped off from Chip Kidd's
incredibly spiffy "Batman Collected"- a nice hardback with all sorts of
Batman propoganda, toys, schwag and crap. Copyright 1996 by Bulfinch Press.
Print this sucker out, then follow the directions to make your own Bat-Plane. For best results, I'd
recommend printing it out on a semi-rigid card stock. I printed it out on
60 lbs. ink jet paper and was satisfied with it. It's the size of a
typical paper airplane and only needs a printable surface of roughly 7 inches by 6 inches.
Hardcore fans may want to take a black Sharpie and color in the underside of the finished plane
for true authenticity. Umm, not that I would do that or anything...just a suggestion.
